		<description>From ribbon-cuttings to crisis management...perhaps PR has become a jack of all trades, master of...well, none.  Obviously, the public's attention is captured by celeb publicity and see the glamour and glitz of being a starmaker in Hollywood.  TV shows and movies feature this role prominently (for good and bad) for obvious reasons.

Where I find this really hits home is when I speak to classes of PR students and I ask them what kind of sector they want to work in.  Inevitably it's entertainment, fashion and sports (from the rare guy in the class).  I suppose that's not surprising and probably not unlike most professions.  I'm sure med students don't take their entrance exams in the hopes they will be a foot doctor or proctologist...I'd imagine neurosurgeon or helping cure AIDS in Africa crosses a lot of young people's minds.

So, what is the answer?  More PR exposure for business students, or more business exposure for PR students</description>
