That's a pretty cool and timely topic, Bob, in this era of user-generated content. Congrats on getting it accepted into the Public Relations Review.

Bob, what are the chances of (a non-subscriber) getting a hold of a copy of this article (either now or when it is published)?

Our new CEO (who started October 1st) came to us via the NHL, where he was managing director of NHL Enterprises Canada. (Prior to that he was involved in numerous marketing, advertising and finance roles at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Coke, etc.). I'm sure he would be very interested in reading Melanie's and your article.

Plus a friend is director of corporate marketing at NHL Canada--who did a sports and event marketing post-graduate program (and is currently a part-time marketing prof at a local college); I'm sure she would be most interested, too.

Let me know. Thanks.

Cheers,
Judy

Thanks Les, it is most gratifying because the work grew out of Melanie's Honor's College thesis as an undergrad, though she's now in our Strategic Communications Management Master's program.

I look forward to the issue in general, since sport's seems like it would be an obvious place for tons of PR research, but actually not that much has been published.

Thanks again!
